The U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce (USWCC) is extending its outreach and economic development efforts to the international business community with the launch of the USWCC Women’s Global Network. It is expected that this network will provide women business owners in the United States and worldwide increased opportunities to gain access to the growing global supply chain.
Margot Dorfman, CEO of the USWCC, says a growing number of Fortune 500 companies are seeking help with reaching supplier diversity goals and securing offshore opportunities for business growth and suppliers. She believes her organization provides these companies with a can’t-miss way to link U.S. women-owned firms with women-owned businesses around the world as the supply chain increasingly moves to a global network.
Additionally, the USWCC is prepared to help educate firms in learning more about international industry sector growth and demand and specifics on doing business with offshore partners. The organization is also offering certification for women-owned firms seeking the highest-quality business certification through its USWCC Women-Owned International Certification.
