Delphi To Supply Fuel Injection Systems For Kohler Engines
Delphi Corporation has been selected by Kohler Co. to provide a new electronic fuel injection (EFI) system for the Command PRO(R) and Aegis(R) commercial engines. The customized Multec(R) EFI system -- which controls the air, fuel, and spark delivery in engines -- offers significant fuel savings, improved performance and reduced emissions. Read More

Goodrich Gets Engine Thrust Reverser Refurbishment Contract
Goodrich Corp. signed a long-term agreement with US Airways to provide a custom-tailored thrust reverser refurbishment program for the airline's CFM56-5B engines powering its Airbus A320 aircraft. Work will be performed at Goodrich Aerostructures' Alabama Service Center, a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility located in Foley, Ala. Read More

Boeing Partner Selected For Saudi Air Force Maintenance Contract
Boeing partner Alsalam Aircraft Co. was awarded a three-year, $29 million contract to provide programmed depot maintenance (PDM) for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) C-130 fleet. Under this contract, Alsalam will perform repairs, inspections, maintenance, modifications and repainting work for 50 C-130 transport aircraft at its facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Read More

Alcoa Automotive Wheels, a division of Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, was awarded platform placement of Dura-Bright® technology wheels with Chrysler LLC’s Street and Racing Technology (SRT) engineering organization. Two new wheels within the Chrysler SRT family, including both Dodge and Jeep® platforms, will begin placement with the 2009 model year. Read More
