Techniks-- ER Holders For Tight Clearance
Clearance problems are "no problem" for ER mini-nut holders from Techniks. Nut diameters range from .63" to 1.02" (16mm - 28mm) ER11, ER16, and ER20 sizes are available for CAT40, CAT50, BT30, and BT40 spindles. General Motors To Increase Vehicle Prices 3.5 Percent For 2009 Model Year
General Motors Corp. told its dealers that it intends to increase prices for its 2009 vehicles by an average of 3.5 percent because of rising prices for commodities such as steel. Mark LaNeve, GM's vice president of North American sales, said in conference calls to dealers that GM will to recover only part of the rising cost of steel and other commodities and the cost of safety and other features on the new models. The increases amount to about $1,000 per vehicle.

Gulfstream Signs $1.9 Billion Agreement With NetJets
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, has reached an agreement with NetJets to supply a total of 40 new Gulfstream aircraft. The agreement is valued at approximately $1.9 billion. Four Gulfstream G450s and four Gulfstream G550s will be delivered to NetJets each year from 2012 through 2016. This deal also includes a long-term maintenance support agreement. Read More

Bell Helicopter Sees World-Wide Interest in Huey II Kits
Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company said it is seeing an increased interest in its Huey II kits as operators around the world look to upgrade their older Hueys for extended life and improved performance. Read More

Alcoa To Temporarily Idle Half Of Rockdale, TX Smelter
Alcoa said it will temporarily idle half the production at its Rockdale, Texas aluminum smelter effective June 23 as a result of ongoing supply issues with Luminant's onsite power generating unit, Sandow Unit 4, and the resulting market power prices being uneconomical. Read More

Lockheed Martin Gets Contract For Multi-Function, Towed Arrays for U.S. Navy
Lockheed Martin received a $10 million contract to produce and support Multi-Function Towed Arrays (MFTAs) for the U.S. Navy's AN/SQQ-89 Antisubmarine Warfare Combat System. The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin'sSyracuse, NY facility. Read More
