Jet Edge, a manufacturer of ultrahighpressure waterjet and abrasivejet cutting systems, has formed a partnership with the Saimo Group of Xuzhou, China, to sell waterjet equipment in China and Australia. The waterjet systems, marketed under the name Saimojet, will be powered by Jet Edge intensifier pumps manufactured in the United States.

In other Jet Edge news, the company now is posting used waterjet equipment for sale on its website, www.jetedge.com.

Flow International (www.flowcorp.com) said its new 87,000-psi waterjet cutting machine works 50 percent faster than 60,000-psi systems, provides up to 30 percent lower part cost and uses as much as 50 percent less abrasive.
