The axes of Vision machining centers move up to 120 m/min, accelerate to 3 G, and provide 5.2-G vectorial axis acceleration. Chip-tochip time is 1.2 sec. The machines are ideal for medical engineering, die-cast manufacturing, mold construction, and production of fittings, pumps, and compressors. Enclosed, coolant-proof working areas with special steel covers and smooth, steep walls make the machines good for dry machining and productions with high chip quantity. Chiron-specific parallel kinematics and linear motors provide X and Y movements.
