boring bars, there are two insert types. The wedge pushes inserts against a central pin from the rear, and top clamping strongly and accurately secures their position.

According to the company, edge-location repeatability of the cutting edge with a single insert measures as high as ±0.0004 in. The toolholders are designated MULNR/L and S-MULNR/L with the MW suffix for the boring bars. Interchangeable pockets are available for insert sizes of 43 for square, rhombic, and trigon inserts.
