Studer Schaudt's Stratos Series combines dual processing — turning and internal/external grinding — and integrated material handling in a single machine and setup. There are three models. The first one, the Stratos S, has two workstations and handles up to 3.94-in.-diameter parts and rapidly processes large batches. Chuck diameters are 4.92 to 8.27 in. The second, Stratos M, handles up to four workstations for workpieces measuring up to 3.94 in. and chuck diameters from 8.27 to 10.24 in. L is the third Stratos model with three workstations and chuck diameters from 10.24 to 12.60 in. for processing parts up to 7.87 in.
