Iscar Metals Ltd. Finishred end mills offer variable power-consumption tooth geometries with special chip-evacuation capabilities. The roughing teeth take 30% less power consumption, and the finishing teeth take 30% more power consumption, which basically cancels out the power variance for a balanced cut. Their Fast Metal Removal (F.M.R.) design allows roughing and finishing with the same tool.
