Group still expanding its line of carbide and steel cutting tools

Mark Wilcox is the new president of Precision Twist Drill Co., and a member of the Dormer Global Management Team. He succeeds Klas Forsstrm, who has been appointed president of Sandvik Hard Materials and a member of the Sandvik Tooling Management Team.
The Dormer Tools Group has expanded its line of traditional cutting tools to become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of solid carbide and high-speed steel cutting tools.
Wilcox is presently the vice president of sales for Dormer NA. With several years of experience in North America’s cutting tool market, he has held several senior positions in sales and marketing, managing the Union Butterfield and Triumph Twist Drill brands, as well as Precision and Dormer.
''Mark's exceptionally strong understanding of the North American round tool market, as well as his in-depth knowledge of Precision Dormer's strategy, puts him in prime position to continue driving the growth of the Precision and Dormer brands in the North American markets,” according to Forsstrm.
According to Wilcox, Dormer continues to expand its product portfolio to meet market needs. ''Our continued growth in developing solution-based application products will generate many customer benefits and prove to the market that we are a solution-driven company,” he said. “We feel confident in moving our position further ahead and look forward to working closely together with our channel partners in supporting the needs of the end customer.”
