REGO-FIX® will be debuting various extensions to its powRgrip toolholding system at IMTS 2010. The new powRgrip Cylindrical toolholder line brings the benefits of the PG system to users of lathes and Swiss automatics. The cylindrical toolholders are available in 25 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, 1 in., 1.25 in., and 1.5 in. diameters in PG 15 and PG 25 collet series.

Also new to the REGO-FIX portfolio is powRgrip VDI. This new line offers options in VDI 30 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm for the PG 15 and PG 25 collet series, for tools ranging from 3 mm – 20 mm (0.125 – 0.75 in.)

REGO-FIX is also expanding its powRgrip Turning system to include a line of boring bar turning collets. These new products are available in metric and inch sizes from 6–20 mm and 0.25–0.75 in. in the PG 15 and PG 25 collet series. These new collets feature an exact timing method for the boring bar flat to enable precise presetting.

Through its approach to toolholding, the powRgrip system offers better TIR, improved tool dampening, easy presetting, longer tool life and unparalleled clamping forces. The various new extensions introduced at IMTS will make these advantages available for an even wider range of metalcutting applications.
