Haas Automation Inc. of Oxnard, Calif., reported record production numbers and shipments for the first half of 2006, ended June 30.
The company built and shipped more than 6,000 CNC machine tools to customers around the world, with 1,198 machines shipped in June alone.
Additionally, Haas said in an earlier statement that its production levels had it poised to build more than 13,000 machines this year and surpass its sales goal of $700 million.
Last year, Haas's sales topped $574 million, ranking it as the largest dollar-value machine tool builder in North America. In addition, the company built more than 10,000 machines in 2005, making it the largest unit-volume builder of CNC machines in the world for that year.
