Parker Acquires Nexgen Hose Inc.
Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, said it has acquired Nexgen Hose Inc., headquartered in Fergus, Ontario, Canada. Nexgen is a leading manufacturer of industrial PVC hose and tubing for niche and industry standard applications. These products are typically used in medical, agriculture, mining, diving, potable water / beverage and fire suppression industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Read More

Parker Acquires Water Filtration and Reverse Osmosis Equipment Maker
Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technology, said it has acquired Aqua Pro, Inc. a manufacturer of reverse osmosis ("RO") filtration systems for military, commercial and pleasure marine applications. Aqua Pro sales for fiscal 2008 were $33.0 million. Read More

General Dynamics Acquires Jet Aviation
General Dynamics today completed its acquisition of Zurich, Switzerland-based Jet Aviation for CHF 2.45 billion (approximately $2.18 billion) from Dreamliner Lux S.a.r.l., a company controlled by the Permira Funds. The companies announced the plans for the acquisition in August. Read More

Honda To Build New Automobile Transmission Plant In Japan
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. said it will build a new automobile transmission plant within its Hamamatsu Factory in order to strengthen production of automobile automatic transmissions (AT) and continuously variable transmissions (CVT), to meet growing global demand. Read More
