FKI Logistex (www.fkilogistex.com), a global provider of integrated material handling solutions, has opened a multimillion-dollar Technology and Education Center (TEC) in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 31,000 sq. ft. facility offers FKI Logistex customers access to fully-functional automated sortation, conveying and order fulfillment systems for solutions demonstrations, proof-of-concept testing and operator training.

"The FKI Logistex TEC is unique in the automated material handling industry," said Steve Ackerman, president, FKI Logistex North America. "It gives us the capability to offer advanced hands-on learning while enhancing our existing and prospective customer relationships." At the TEC, visitors can test their own products and containers on the FKI Logistex equipment and preview innovative material handling solutions. The TEC enables companies to jump-start training for new installations and learn best practices for operation and maintenance of existing systems.
