Command Tooling bought by German tool manufacturer

EWS Tool Technologies (www. ews-tools.de), headquartered in Uhingen, Germany, has acquired Command Tooling Systems (www. commandtool.com), a manufacturer of CNC toolsholders in Ramsey, Minn.

Command will continue to offer its current product lines, including standard and custom toolholders, specialty toolholders, along with its full line of ThermoLock Shrink-fit products and the URMA modular boring systems and reamers. With the addition of EWS, Command will significantly expand its global presence along with its product lines, including a complete offering of driven and static tools.

EWS has worldwide distribution, with facilities in China, Korea and France.
