Changes Announced for Hand Protection Business Unit

Perfect Fit Glove Co. LLC, (www.perfectfitglove.com) , a business unit of Bacou-Dalloz Group, announced plans to streamline its product offering to improve the company’s flexibility to respond to current market conditions. Steve Spotts, vice president and GM, outlined a reorganization plan that includes a workforce reduction of 36 employees at the company’s manufacturing facility in Buffalo.

The move is in preparation for completion of the final phase of integration of the Perfect Fit Glove product line into a main distribution center located in Columbus, OH. As part of the reorganizing plan, Perfect Fit will launch next month a mix of new products within the palm-dipped glove family. These products will better enable Perfect Fit to serve the market’s needs and achieve the company’s ongoing strategy of profitable growth.

Perfect Fit Glove, designs, manufactures and sells head-to-toe personal protection equipment for three strategic business segments: head protection, body protection and fall protection. The company operates 31 production facilities.
