Genevieve Swiss Industries will feature the new MULTIDEC 1600 series thin grooving and micro turning tools with inserts widths from the thickness of human hair (.0019”) up to .108” from UTILIS. Capable of work under .125” in diameter with cutting edge repeatability within .0004”, the 1600 series inserts are available with a variety of coatings. Also featured is the high speed live tooling attachments (15,000 max. rpm) available as a direct replacement for many Swiss Machines with no retrofitting required.
Also on display will be the Swiss-Type Rotary Broach holders that feature a low interference and compact design, with “no center indicating” enabling faster setups, and Swiss-Made quality.
In addition, the company will show the GenSwiss Run out and Concentricity system for verification of cylindrical run out or concentricity inspection. Other UTILIS products include the Multidec 3000 series inserts for front and back turn, groove and turn and threading work.
