High Performance Reamers

Command Tooling Systems (www.commandtool.com) says its new Urma Circo Tex RX reamers have faster feedrates, longer life and are easier to use than comparable reaming systems. The reamers are available either straight-shank and Beta Modul styles and are available in diameters from 0.468 in. (11.9 mm) to 3.960 in. (100.6 mm) for applications with tight hole-tolerance requirements. The company says the reaming system is only solid carbide system available for reaming diameters of 1.72 in. to 3.96 in. (43.6 mm to 100.6 mm). Cutting inserts have multiple cutting edges for fast speed and feedrates with repeatability of under four microns runout. Carbide or cermet inserts are available uncoated or with optional coatings for specific requirements. Cutting insert changes do not require complete tool disassembly and eliminate the need for further adjustments with every changeover.
