Manchester Tool Company, Akron, Ohio (www.manchestertools.com), says its MTC SLS (serrated locking system), a one-piece combination toolholder and cartridge, has the rigidity and cutting stability of an integral tool shank.
Both the toolholder and cartridge have serrations or interlocking ridges on their inner sides that create a tight fit between the cartridge and the toolholder. The MTC cartridge accommodates MTC double-ended, double V-design inserts.
