In a program designed to recognize the most innovative design and engineering advancements made by its customers, the software and services company Autodesk (www.autodesk.com) launched an "Inventor of the Month" program in January.

Autodesk named WaveLoch (www.waveloch.com) as the first recipient of the title. WaveLoch is a company based in La Jolla, Calif., that designs wave rides and attractions for athletes, water parks, amusement parks, resorts and cruise ships around the world, and uses Autodesk's Inventor software for three-dimensional modeling and design, and for visualization.
