Web-based applications can be useful to help manufacturers grow their enterprises and sustain their competitive advantages. The initial advantages of software-as-a-service and other Cloud-based applications are fairly well-known, including the cost-savings for maintaining server-based programs onsite and installing the frequent updates. The need to recruit and maintain staff to oversee those programs is an additional cost savings.

On the other hand, having those capabilities available fully and quickly is essential to any manufacturers’ competitive standing.

But, the advantages go beyond the administrative level. Technology that speeds estimating time and accuracy, improves workflow and enhances profitability and customer satisfaction brings value to any enterprise.
