A replacement for the Robofil 240 wire EDM, the Robofil 240SL features a low head. When paired with symmetrical XY and UV tables, this machine handles maximum taper angles up to 30° to the full part height. A 3D part-alignment system allows setups for heavy and tall parts. A filter system for the Robofil 240SL has four filters instead of two, increasing filter life 2.5 , compared with the previous design. The machine measures water levels in the work tank and makes adjustments for unattended machining of parts with different heights.
