Steel Sealed ER Coolant Collets

Techniks Inc. (www.techniksusa.com) ER coolant collets do not have plugs or seals to fail, so the company says they can be run continuously without worries over coolant issues. The collets do not require coolant discs, are rated at 2,000 psi and work with standard ER holders and nuts. ER16, ER20, ER25, ER32 and ER40 Steel sealed collets are available in all popular inch and metric shank sizes. Teckniks recommends using its Power Coat nuts, which the company says hold as much as 75 percent tighter than standard nuts, for best accuracy and extended cutting tool life.
