Kurt's high-density vise sports two 4-in.-capacity stations with hard jaws for repeatable clamping to 0.001 in. Manual models deliver up to 6,316 lb of clamping force at 70 lb of torque, and the hydraulic version generates 7,800 lb of force at 5,000 psi. The vice also features hard or quick-change, machinable jaws in 7075-T6 aluminum or 65-45-12 cast iron; self-adjusting holding blocks to quickly set jaws; and adjustable preloads for reducing handle turns on large jaw openings.
