Flow International Corp. reports it has received contracts valued at approximately $11 million for Composite Machining Center abrasive waterjet and routing machine tool systems, to be completed in the coming 18 months. Most of the purchase orders are from Airbus supplier partners working on multiple Airbus programs, Flow said.
The Kent, WA, company develops and manufactures ultrahigh-pressure, industrial waterjet machines for cutting and cleaning.
These new orders will be carried out by Flow International’s Advanced business unit. They come in addition to a “backlog” of orders for equipment valued at approximately $20 million for Flow Advanced, reported in October.
