Rego-Fix (www.rego-fix.com) has expanded its powRgrip toolholding system with the PG Microbore collets.

The collets are designed to counteract inaccuracies caused by runout when using small diameter cutting tools in high precision machining.

The company said its new series of collets achieve a T.I.R. less than 0.0001 in. (3 μm) after 20,000 tool changes.

The collets are compatible with all PG 10 toolholders and machines, and are offered in standard and metric sizes. The collets can clamp tool shanks from 0.2 mm (0.0079 in.) to 0.9 mm (0.0354 in.).
