The new Triple Chip S8 Carbide Tipped Bandsaw Blades from Simonds International are designed for all cutting applications that require a smooth surface finish and high production rates. The blades are engineered for use in production cutting operations, steel service centers, aerospace plants and forging houses.

The bandsaw blades employ new designs that are said to provide longer life and smoother finishes and to cut faster than other carbide blades. The geometry of the blades’ tooth spacing allows for a greater cutting range and more uniform wear of teeth over time than other carbide blades. A special arrangement of tooth sizes within each blade pattern provides for quiet operation and contributes to smooth cut finishes and long wear-life.

The blades are designed for cutting high nickel alloys, titanium, Inconel and other exotic materials. A positive rake or face angle delivers optimum penetration on alloy materials and maximum robustness in rough cutting applications.

Available in a range of blade widths from 0.5 in. to 3.125 in., the blades come in a variety of tooth pitch configurations including 0.9 to 1.1, 1.4 to 1.8, 1.9 to 2.1, 2 to 3, 2.5 to 3.5 and 3 teethper- inch for flexibility based on the materials being cut in their particular setting.<<
