DMG Mori Promising Product and Process Premieres at IMTS

DMG Mori is promising to continue its recent record for new product introductions at IMTS 2014, with two global product premieres and 13 products to be shown for the first time in the U.S. As important, all the machines that DMG Mori will present in Chicago in September will be exhibit the common design standard it has developed — a  esign that “delivers improved functionality and offers high value retention through long-life surfaces,” it announced.

The new machines’ technological highlights include CELOS, DMG Mori’s new control platform; adjustable displays for improved ergonomics; and SMARTkey® access for personalized operator authorization and customized access privileges to the control and machine.

The machine builder introduced CELOS last year, and will present 23 machines equipped with the controls at IMTS.
