During 2006, Haas built and shipped more than 12,500 CNC machines – a milestone in the machine tool industry. The company reached another milestone in May 2007, when its 75,000th CNC machine tool was installed at a second-tier automotive supplier in Europe, one of the company’s fastest-growing markets.
All Haas products are distributed through a worldwide network of Haas Factory Outlets (HFOs) that provides immediate local service and support to expedite repairs when necessary, and keep customers’ machines operating at their optimum level. Each HFO has complete showroom facilities, factorytrained service personnel, extensive spare-parts inventories and fully stocked service vehicles.
The Haas manufacturing facility currently exceeds one million square feet, with a production capacity of more than 1,200 machines per month. To meet the growing worldwide demand for Haas products, production levels will continue to increase throughout the year, with a goal of building 1,300 machines per month by year’s end.
Despite this rapid growth, Haas Automation will not compromise the quality of its products. “We will only increase our production at a rate that allows us to maintain the high level of quality that our customers demandand deserve,” states Haas Director of Operations Richard Mountan.
