Gibbs and Associates (www.gibbscam.com), developer of GibbsCAM software for programming CNC machine tools, and Kubotek USA (www.kubotek.com), creators of geometry-based KeyCreator CAD software, have integrated their software programs.
A newly developed, one-button interface allows models to be sent directly to GibbsCAM from within a KeyCreator session. Additionally, GibbsCAM now has the ability to read models directly from the KeyCreator CKD file format.
“To stay current with the latest versions of CA D applications, we continually update GibbsCAM’s data interoperability capabilities,” Bill Gibbs, founder of Gibbs and Associates and president Cimatron North America said.
“KeyCreator is an excellent PC-based design tool, but the capabilities introduced with the latest version of KeyCreator are directly applicable to manufacturing users.
