Single Source Technologies said new tools from NS Tool, Micro Ball Endmills, are the world’s smallest ball end mill at 0.01-mm diameter. The Micro Ball series, NSMB100, offers sizes from 0.01-mm to 0.1-mm diameter. NS Tool’s other series feature size ranges of 0.1-mm to 12-mm diameter, ensuring tools are available for every application. The company said finer surface finishes can be achieved with NS Tool’s original “R” design feature. All NS Tool’s Micro tools, including square end mills that start at 0.01-mm diameter, are made of super micro grain carbide.
