Emuge's line of Threads-All indexable-insert thread mills is for producing internal threads on CNC machining centers. Threads-All mills have hardened CNC-ground tool-steel bodies with Weldon-style shanks that quickly and easily adapt to a variety of machine tools. Partial-profile PVD-coated inserts are for right or left-hand threads. With two inserts, multiple-thread diameters and pitches of UN, UNC, UNF, UNEF, UNJF, UNS, M, MF, and MJ are possible.

Each insert has four cutting edges and fast on-machine edge indexing. Inserts mount — with a Torx locking screw — in steel pockets machined to match their widths, depths, and lengths. The Threads-All anti-vibration body allows for 2 3 length-to-diameter ratios, and free-cutting insert geometries produce low radial-cutting pressure for true-to-gage threads. Because of their low spindle-torque requirement, the inserts let shops produce large threads on small machines. The mill's internal-coolant supply exits radially at the insert-cutting edge for cooling, chip evacuation, and thread quality.
