The S-120M is a high-end, PC-based CNC that controls up to eight axes, including four CNC axes, PLC axes, and a spindle. The product features a 1,000-block/sec processing time and what's described as flexible and extensive macros and dynamic lookahead contour control for high-precision high-speed molding. Also included is an intuitive Windowsbased GUI interface.

Besides the CAM and PLC packages, the S-120M comes as a turnkey package that adds an industrial-panel PC. This CNC is well-suited for four-axis mills and machining centers; laser, plasma, and waterjet machines; EDMs; grinding and shearing systems; and more. Soft Servo's entire product line hinges on its ServoWorks technology. One PC performs all servo control, including feedback loops and NC-path generation, as well as providing a user interface, data processing, plant monitoring, network communication, and file management. This host PC runs on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows XPE with a Venturcom RTX real-time extension to the operating system.
