BallPlus ballnose milling systems reportedly have improved clamping mechanisms and offer more application options. They include cylindrical and conical shanks and five milling inserts. Each shank carries different milling inserts. Clamping and indexing milling heads is simple and done while tools remain on machines. Pocket designs provide firm insert clamping and edge position accuracy. The V-shaped inserts position against two contact surfaces for accuracy.
