Charmilles has increased the ignition voltage and tripled maximum amplitude for the generator of its Robofil 440cc wire EDM. The digital CC generator protects workpieces from electrolytic effects. The machine includes a new highcapacity filtration system for submerged machining of parts up to 24-in. tall as well as 30° tapers to full part height and an extended Z height option.
