MeasurLink Version 6.0 global data-management software incorporates special industry features including real-time 3Dgraphical part representation, a Windows XP-style tool bar, and Crystal report plug-in for report writing. Its Real-Time statistical callouts against a dynamic, 3D part mode, let CAD software users view and manipulate parts similar to a CAD drawing, while callouts move with the 3D model. In addition, a new Inspection Wizard has inexperienced operators collecting data in less than a minute.

MeasurLink's samplingfrequency timers maintain a consistency in user qualitycontrol plan executions, and IT managers benefit from a local database-replication function. "With support for scan and trace image capture, the software drills down through the SPC data to a level of feature detail never before seen," says Robert Brown, MeasurLink program manager.

Besides Real-Time, other MeasurLink application suites include Process Manager, Process Analyzer, Gage R&R, Gage Measurement, STATMeasure, and STATMeasure Plus. The applications also work with the Pocket ML mobile-collection device for publishing data on the Internet in real-time via Measur.NET, a browser-based communication tool.
