The VMC 3016 with 30,000-rpm spindle is a rigid platform for high-speed operations such as contouring molds. It uses HSK-40 (DIN standard) tooling and features a 20-pocket dual-arm ATC. Machine spindles feature ceramic bearings for high speeds and 25° contact areas for bearing stiffness. Three CNC options are available — a Fadal digital 104/D, GE Fanuc Series 18i MB5, and Siemens Sinumerik 840D. The machine also features ribbed castings, flame-hardened boxways, and Cool Power refrigerated cooling system.
