The tools feature a reinforced shank and come in 0.984-in. lengths and diameters from 0.002 to 0.078 in. HSS micro drills are also available for most applications from 0.0020 to 0.0039 in. Micro drills are well-suited for the automotive industry machining carburetor fuel-injector nozzles, controls and instruments in appliance manufacturing, and various medical-product applications.
