SMGlobal's FastMaint computerized maintenance-management-solution (CMMS) software version 4.1 has successfully completed Microsoft's Verified for Windows XP-certification test, confirming that it meets Microsoft's usability and stability standards. Reportedly, FastMaint is one of the few maintenance-management programs to accomplish this.

Current FastMaint users say the software is well-suited for their small to mid-sized preventative-maintenance programs. It applies to maintaining manufacturing plants, facilities, fleets, enterprise assets, and other such tasks.
