AMSA Generation 3-A and 4-A linear guides work in restricted settings. Resolution of the magnetic, integrated encoder on Schneeberger guides is as fine as 0.06 µ with interpolation. The AMSA 3-A and 4-A offer 0.0625 to 4-µ resolution. Scales for both feature distance-coded reference marks at 1.97-in. intervals, a 200-µ signal period, and IP67 protection class. Operating temperatures of up to +158° F and storage temperatures of 4 to +158° F are possible. The AMSA 3-A offers 2.96 to 3.54-in. compact scanhead lengths, while the AMSA 4-A provides 2.60 to 3.07 in.
