The SV312 deep-scribing unit is well-suited for marking various metallic parts such as VIN marking, shock towers, and engine blocks on assembly and automatic production lines. With a tool balancer, the SV312 also marks structural iron, tubes, valve joints, and more. It produces a deep, highly continuous line mark with up to 19 characters, 0.28-in. tall, in less than 10 sec.

The unit uses an independent, user-friendly control with screen, internal software, and keyboard that eliminate the need for PCs or PLCs. The marking head measures 12.5 98.5 in.
