The Huffman HS-225GC multi-axis grinding center builds on productivity with the addition of a 12-pocket automatic tool changer. This addition provides flexibility for handling a wide variety of complex parts that require multiple wheel packs or multiple machining processes, including grinding, milling, drilling, and probing.

Some of the machine’s options are wheel-truing devices and spindle motors that let shops use a wide array of wheel types, such as electroplated CBN or vitrified CBN or conventional grinding wheels. A 50-hp continuous duty motor drives the machine’s HSK-100 spindle to speeds of 4,000 rpm to 8,000 rpm.
