The Turbo-Separator T18-2 is an automatic solidsdischarging centrifuge that recycles grinding and polishing fluids. It removes 1 to 10-µ particles, and the centrifuge processes at a rate up to 40-gpm and removes solids at up to 20 gallons of sludge or swarf per shift. Discharged centrifuged solids come out dry due to a special bowel design and high rotational speeds. The PLC-controlled T18-2 features a digital interface and sensors for monitoring operating parameters.
