Besides offering all the benefits of its predecessor, the SI.2 Laser Tracker sports three additional, advanced features. They are Smart Warm-Up, which heats the tracker to a stable temperature in half the time; SelfComp, which eliminates the time-consuming and user-intensive compensation process; and Active Thermal Compensation, which reduces fluctuations in measurement accuracies by actively responding to changes in the Tracker's temperature.
