The 8070 CNC handles up to 16 axes and four spindles in forged die and aluminum injection-mold manufacturing. It interprets fourth-degree polynomial paths and converts a point-topointbased contour into a spline for machining. Lookahead and jerkcontrol features let operators analyze toolpaths in advance, carry out a predictive control, and apply the correct acceleration/deceleration control. The unit also features filters for postinterpolations and antiresonance for smooth machining and excellent part finishes.
