Tooling U, a Clevelandbased online provider of manufacturing training has added Mazak training classes to its curriculum.

The classes are designed to provide the theory necessary to perform the tasks and duties of a Mazak CNC machine operator. Mill classes were introduced at IMTS, and lathe classes went on-line in October. The classes are a part ofTooling U’s CNC Control Department that includes courses in operations for GE Fanuc and Haas CNCs.

Tooling U said its CNC department has the most number of students of all of its offerings.

The on-line educator added Mazak classes were added to satisfy demand from shops that use Mazak machines, and completes Tooling U’s CNC program so that it now includes each of the three leading CNC control programming methods.
