Misumi USA, Inc. (www.misumiusa.com) has introduced compact stopper blocks and stopper brackets for machine and assembly builds.

These blocks and brackets are among the company’s line of configurable and fixed blocks, brackets, plungers, guides and other locating components. The new compact-style stopper blocks are available in low-carbon steel with black oxide or electroless nickel plating, as well as 304 stainless steel.

The blocks are designed with configurable heights in 1-mm increments from 3 mm to 20 mm and have compact counterbore designs for flush fitting in tight spaces.

Compact stopper brackets in hex or bolt styles similarly are offered in low-carbon steel with black oxide or EN plating, and 304 stainless steel. On the bolt style, the fixing nut is bright chromate low-carbon steel or 304 stainless steel.

Larger stopper blocks, in standard, tapped and side-mounting plate styles also are available, with configurable in 5 mm increments from 10 mm to 50 mm heights, in black-oxide or EN plated steel and urethane materials. Fixed threaded styles also are offered in inch sizes from in. to1 -in. heights, in low-carbon steel with black-oxide or EN plating, as well as 304 stainless steel. The company offers one-day manufacturing and prices as low as $8.60 per unit for these inch styles.
