It weighs 1.98 lb (0.9 kg), has a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm with a stroke length of 0.023 in. (0.6 mm). The system is ergonomically designed for extended use with a variety of drive systems and includes an integrated air motor, flexible shaft (slip-joint or ball-joint), integrated micromotor and connections for other common micromotors.

Engis says the Di-Pro system works best with Diprofil diamond tools including the DLA, DLE, DLF, DLM and DBE types, and with Diprofil lapping and polishing tools.
