Toyoda Machinery's (www.toyodausa.com) new AF-series of vertical-machining centers is designed for high-speed machining applications. The rigid cast iron base and column provide long-term accuracy and durability. The direct-drive, 12,000 rpm, temperature controlled spindle is paired with the Fanuc 18i-MB control to handle complex die/mold applications. Toyoda will be demonstrating the AF-Series at IMTS along with other a vertical and horizontal machining centers, tool storage systems and grinding technology.
