Coherent's highest power industrial laser.

Coherent Inc. (www.coherent.com) has developed a laser to deliver more than 30 watts of green (532 nm) output, making it the highest power industrial laser available at this wavelength.

The AVIA 532-30 is a q-switched, diode-pumped laser designed to process high-throughput materials. It also can be used for scientific applications.

The company says primary applications for the laser are precision micromachining, including drilling, cutting, scribing, marking and other surface treatments, in the microelectronics industry.
