A Japanese-language edition of Supply Chain Excellence: A Handbook for Dramatic Improvement Using the SCOR Model has just been released, according to Amacom, the publishing house of the American Management Association.

The book, co-authored by AMERICAN MACHINIST Publisher Bob Rosenbaum, is a textbook for manufacturers to identify, prioritize and improve supply chain inefficiencies that affect a company's overall competitiveness.

Peter Bolstorff, the book's other co-author, indicated that Spanish, German and Chinese editions are also planned. Published in 2003, the Englishlanguage original of Supply Chain Excellence is available at Amazon.com or directly from the AMA at www.amanet.org
